If you want the features buy the BRZ if you want the CAR barebones buy the FRS, I wouldnt be surprised to see some of these things as add ons to the car. Which is great in my opinion, you pay for what you want. If you just want a barebones car you get it, If you want LED's, fogs, ect you pay the premium.

The only thing I am disapointed in is the climate controls, they were pretty neat looking, but I still dont really care, I want this car to drive.
How much would you pay for the the Scion then? If this car is not under 22k I find it overprice for what you get. 21,999 or less should be the price for this.

I wanted scion to offer BOTH. That's my complaint. If everything becomes an option then I'm good with that.

And I love heated seats (and the look and likely the feel of the alcantara seats) And hids. The push button start is take it or leave it. I prefer the look of the auto hvac controls but the functionality of the manual hvac. Fog lights and led strips are meh.

^^ That would be nice, I keep thinking in Canadian pricing, Scion doesnt usually rape us too bad, compared to other brands.

AWESOME! One thread that has rounded up all the Noobs so that they can stop polluting the rest of the forum with these BS post about F'in cosmetic crap, or post about not being turboed when we've known that NONE of the models would be, for the last 3-5 months.

I think the ball was dropped when they went with Scion name and then the ball hit rock bottom with a NA engine.

How sad and I was actually excited at one piont.

Really? Mine came with a Hot Chocolate machine. However, they dropped the ball because it doesn't dispense whipped cream on the top. SCION YOU FAILED! Except unlike Dragonitti, now I'm going to go buy a Reliant Robin and die in a rollover.

I'm pretty sure this is a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. If it came with all of the amenities of the 86, surely the price would be up there. Then everyone would be saying "Scion why is it so expensive!" Now that it was stripped down to keep costs down, people say "Scion, why did you take away my whirlygigs and buttons!"

I am thrilled that they cut costs, I am beyond excited to buy this car, and as long as they keep the chassis the same and include an LSD standard, it could end up being an amazing value. I am a bit bummed about the cool hvac switches going away, but honestly this is not a luxury car. I want a simple, utilitarian car. I love my BMW but I want to jump into something simple that still has power, handles well, is lightweight, cheap to fix, and NEW.

The hardest thing to give up will be the steering wheel controls, that is absolutely key, oh well.
