Maybe my post was confusing. I ordered the weathertech mats for the front, which are coming in on Tuesday. I already have the BRZ trunk tray and love it.
I'm am not getting the weather tech trunk liner, as the BRZ tray is perfect.

ahh gotcha. that's pretty much the mix and match set up i was going to get. i was just wondering if anyone thought the additional 40$ for the weathertech liner was worth it for any reason.

Hard to say... but I like the look of the Subaru tray a lot more.

Just got my cargo tray that I ordered online. It came rolled up in a box and the plastic really doesn't look like it was meant to be rolled. It appears damaged but maybe the creases will go away with some time. Anyone else experience this?

Mine came rolled just like yours. It will take some time but it will be like new one in place. No need to worry.

Weather tech's trunk mat came rolled also but mine was held flat and firmly in place once set into the trunk, fitment is pretty much exact on it.

Ya it's looking better already and I just put it in the car...might have some little creases still here and there but basically looks perfect.

From what I gather the hard plastic is some sort of memory plastic. LOL What I mean is that when it came rolled up I thought that some of the creases/folds would never come out. They looked down right permanent, but after installing it in the trunk all the creases have disappeared and you can't tell it was ever folded in the first place.

The OEM Subaru cargo tray fits like a glove too. I mean it's like so snug you can't really see where the tray begins and ends.

Same experience here. I was pissed when I saw the box it came in (like a large poster box) but, after installing it, the creases disappeared and the fitment couldn't be more perfect.

Same experience here as well - came rolled in in the mail - let it sit for a little bit (20 minutes) inside in the heat and most of it flattened out fine - once installed in the car, after a little tweaking it was absolutely fine, and I can atest to things staying put - gallon of milk, plastic container of cat litter, and some assorted groceries - same place when I got home as when I put them in the car - well worth the money for the product, and it looks good in the trunk too!
