This is the BRZ STI concept, so in theory it would be analogous to the FT-86 TRD. It ain't gonna look like this form factory folks. That being said, while I love the tails, I much prefer the FT-86 version, as it looks sharper up front in my eyes. I think we'll see some interesting "sileighty" and "onevia" type conversions

Damn, I can finally post now.

From certain angles....

Front reminds me of an RX-8
Rear reminds me of a Camaro, but with a wing on the back.

I think the Toyota taillights are more production ready than the sti concept. At least the sti lights end at the trunk while the Toyota cuts into the trunk sheet meta like the testers. I'd prefer the sti style over the ones that seem to be the production style. Either way we will see soon

While true at least this concept is clearly based on the production car where the frs concept was not.

With the production launch in less than 2 weeks I really can't get excited about another concept.

I hear Toyota is leaving off the door handles to get closer to that $15k target price

I hope the tails on this concept carry over to the production model, they look much better than the clear tails on the leaked pics.

I'm a fan of the C-shaped light-pipes in the head and tail lights. I definitely hope they transfer to production. I prefer them to the pixel LED strip eyebrow in the Toyota headlight.

Except for the front splitter, that front end is a picture of the real production subaru BRZ front end, so it's still worthwhile. More worthwhile than pics of any of the toyota/scion concepts

Sorry about the downtime yesterday folks... too much traffic from the first live pics

Things will be upgraded and should be ok (hopefully) for the TMS reveals

*** That said, there may be some site downtime this weekend for the upgrades.
