Blue with black roof, can't wait!! To me, the rear lights looks more like R8. Can anybody please answer how much a carbon fiber roof will cost, in case I get an FRS

this car is like the FR-S concept by five axis. dont get too excited. we've already seen the test mule and it looks nothing like this model. i bet it too will be a fiberglass shell with no interior. the only thing we can draw from this concept is the grille.

Have we seen the STI version or just the base Subaru version?

I still think the FR-S looks better. But that's how it's supposed to be. Scion gets the better looking one, and Subaru will get the more powerful one. And 200HP isn't all that bad considering it's a 2.0L 4Cyl. I'm sure tuning companies will make turbo kits for the FR-S, and personally I can't wait to see what Dezod and HKS have in store for us. Perhaps maybe even Toyota/Scion will offer a factory turbo kit that will satisfy us all. The supercharger for the tC was kinda disappointing though. Hopefully this time they'll get it right with the FR-S.

The Subaru is looking nicer to me except for the grill, but very nice fog-light integration nonetheless. + Thank God it doesn't have those fender side markers and the gaudy vents covers of the FT-86. Still a concept though, I'll sit it out until TMS. Hopefully like some members said, they'll make their concept-production transition better than they did with the new Impreza.

the spy pics probably show the base, but who really believes there is a real STI version anyways? its more people's hopes than anything at this point. and the STI concept revealed today? that's pure marketing. slap on some brembos and 18's and its an STI? sure you can call it an STI but it sure doesnt feel like a real STI, to me anyways...

You know, you can't say it feel or doesn't feel like a real STI unless you test drive the STI version. With all little thing added in the car, I say it will be better than base model. I also think if they're going to make high performance model, they will play with the engine.

I think the headlights have to be squared off like the drawing. These would incorporate better with the taillights

I'm not a photoshop person so I did this in paint to give some idea, I have no idea how to make it larger. The Brz looks dopey with it's front compared to the others. I still like it though lol

My gut asks "What's the point of them both selling the same car like Buick and Pontiac?" The answer has to be Subaru has to have some sugar to make its presence know. Otherwise it's the "other FT-86". Being responsible for engineering and manufacturing could be key to them producing "optional" models.

If there is a Japan only decontented version with no AC, primed only bumbers, etc, what's to keep them from doing other models in markets that need them - like an R-Spec car with a power boost. Hyundai has done the R-Spec GC. That would be great with this car too.
