Supposed to be 1" all around, but I feel like it will be a little less than that. Some people have seen 7/8ths of an inch, others have seen more up front, a tad less in the back, etc.

So I guess there is roughly a 12% margin of error on either side of 1"

I am happy with how it works, tho it does make the offset of the factory rims more apparent (their sunken in look)

I plan on getting new rims down the road, so that will handle that

I have not done an alignment yet. Everything is pretty square so I am happy with it. I will bring it in soon ish though just to make sure.

Very little cambering from dropping the car 1 inch. I guess when I get an allignment I will learn more. As our car does not have adjustable bolts, not much can be done without me upgrading to crash bolts or something.

Thanks for the compliment!

In other upgrade news I installed a K&N air filter last night. I have no idea why people say it is hard to install I had the stock filter out and the new K&N replaced within 3 minutes. Honest - super easy install. And car runs great (as always) with added induction sound.

I REALLY hear it around 4,000rpm but that has something to do with Visconti's tune.

Things on the way!
  • Matched LED's on the way for my side marker lights (currently they are white...so like a 4500k, i need a matching 6000k)
  • 6000K led's for my fog lights (until I decide to maybe throw in some HIDS)
  • new LEDs for my reverse lights (my cree ones are not meant for the reverse light housing)
  • JDM Toyota Badges
  • Rexspeed convex side mirrors
  • JPM Coach Works Alcantara MT shift boot

Well I need to post a lot of new photos (and basically fix the first post so it has everything I have done) but I will add a written update for now

Most recent updates:
  • Grimspeed strut tower bar installed
  • Grimspeed brake cylinder brace installed
  • JPM Coachworks 6MT Alcantara shift boot installed
  • Colour matched LED's installed in side markers and fog lights (match my retrofit HIDS)
  • Toyota exterior badges installed (still need to address wheel caps)

To do mods:
  • OEM Audi + Sub(&AMP) just arrived, need to install
  • Rear Fog light activation
  • Courtesy door light activation
  • Toyota Steering wheel badge mod

General thoughts about my FR-S on my official 1 year anniversary:
  • still loving the car for its handling and ease to slide;
  • SRT header back exhaust is totally livable now and has it's aggressive tone has settled down;
  • Grimspeed strut tower bar does ALOT for the car. Car handles better, takes to ruts and bumps much better and is less "clunky" due to less flex in the front end;
  • JPM coachworks products are nice and alcantara feels amazing, when you open up the packaging, you will be let down by how simple and small the boot looks vs how much you paid - once you have it installed and feel it with your fingers you will be so..very...happy; and finally,
  • this car needs more power. I do not have an auto-x or track nearby to enjoy this cars great agility and light weight build - I have long straight highways and simple city roads. On a small windy track, 160 whp may be ok but around town I am a little let down. Next year will bring some big HP mods to the table.

Thanks for following my build guys!
