They look good and neatly installed. I will try to align mines properly

Great write up! We have these units in stock if anyone is interested. I can't post a link or pricing, but they can be found in the accessories section of the site.

Ive done this install on my BRZ, but didnt do the whole bumper off thing, u just took the lower bumper guards off its double layered. It has a softer plastic lower shield helt on with mainly pop out the centre clips and thwo 10mm bolts, then there is a thicker more rigid panel in there held on with half a dozen 10mm bolts, and secured to the arch liners behind the bumper with two inverted pop out the centre clips, gets you all the access you need in about 5 minutes.
Any how i'ma bit under whelmed at the output of these horns, i'm not really concerned they are still loud enough to be road legal in the uk, but they arent any louder then my friends gt86 stock horns, its wired exactly the same as the guide suggests, well they share a grounding point but that shouldnt matter. They are both sounding you can hear the who different tones, but it just sounds like a deranged road runner. |

I put mine side by side to the left. Right by my oil cooler. Honestly you can't see them much on the FRS anyway so I made them stealth lol.

The first time I used my horns on my 2014 FR-S, I laughed out loud. It let out a timid "meep meep". I needed something that would grab people's attention and yell, "HEY, I'M DRIVING HERE!!" I have some experience putting Fiamm horns on motorcycles. It grabs people's attention when they hear what sounds like two tons of '70s Buick bearing down on them. That's what this car needs.
I didn't like the location of the original low-tone horn, hidden behind the right turn signal, so I mounted them both on the hangar behind the grill that held the original high-tone. Now the full force of the sound can come straight out to the traffic around me. I used the original wiring, but added a little extra length to the power lead mainly to ease mounting. I used the chassis for the ground. I did all the work from beneath by removing the two aerodynamic panels on the bottom of the car. Total time for the mod was about an hour and a half. |

Nice. I too went with fiamm horns. Planning on removing the bumper and installing them that way, since I need to take off the bumper to do the magnetic front plate mount anyway.

Thanks for the reference. Installed the PIAA sports version, a higher pitch... definitely cleaner. Went under the car also. No need to remove bumper.

I just finished installing my Hella Horns and this is how it turned out. Please look at my imgur album for instructions and progress photos here http://imgur.com/a/may4m
Please ask any questions about the installation, I'll be happy to help.
