Hey popping back in. IAM has been solid, but I'm still worried about fuel trims. Here is my latest data log of just normal daily driving.

https://datazap.me/u/unholypanda/sep...g=0&data=10-11

STFT is typically under +/- 5 but has weird jumps when getting on or letting off the throttle, and my LTFT dips to -15 sometimes. Not sure if that is bad or not. I am going to check for leaks again this weekend when I can let the car cool down for a bit before checking the header.

Hard to tell since you are on/off throttle so much. Don't worry about short term fuel trims just monitor long term. You need to log steady state in closed loop. Read this thread. Good resource and what I used to dial in my MAF scaling.

I guess what I have trouble understanding is when I should be looking for the numbers. The linked thread says to aim for +/- 2% LTFT which is what I typically get once the car goes open loop. So is that alright then? I'm just trying to make sure I don't have any hard to find exhaust leaks that I'm not noticing.

No offense, but if you don't understand that linked thread I would not mess with it yourself. What you need to log and how you need to log it are in the thread.

It says you can aim for +/-2% but you likely won't constantly get it due to fuel variations, temp, ect. I aim for +/-3 personally but have some areas around idle down around 5% which is good enough for the girls I go out with.

Your probably aiming for LTFT around +/- 2% or so. Their will always be a bit of variance due fuel formulation (ethanol content E10) temperature , pressure ect.
