I hate to say this, but I hated the MKII version the most I was really hopeing that the MKIII version was what was comeing, I would by two of them if it was that one, but these test mules are not giving me anything that I would want to drive.

When all the Tacoma junkies were anticipating the arrival of the current truck, Toyota had it all covered up, even during testing. I guess the razzle-dazzle-camouflage is good enough for Toyota

honestly i dont think toyota is trying too hard to keep this car under wraps. seems more like they want to get as much hype going as possible, pretty much free advertising. especially when you consider that we have seen not one but 3 concept cars and the amount of time that people have been talking about it. it's an easy way to get the word out on their product and set the foundations for an early consumer base without really spending any money

Yeah and they have been doing a very good job in doing so. Toyota seems very confident with this product and it has indeed generated a huge amount of hype so far.

I would assume that the next generation release will be more sworn to secrecy.

Hey Toyota I've been following this car for the better part of 10 years. I posted on the thread @ the club 4ag forums when you asked for opinions on what makes a car a cult classic long before the ft-86 was even shown to the public and before this forum even existed. I still remember the photos of the chopped 2 door crown mule driving around Fuji even before you acquired a stake in subaru. トヨタさん、お願いします!
