2018 BRZ Special Edition at Boxerfest - Rumors

I think tS is just small (not really small) upgrade from normal brz. not big change as like between impreza and sti. if the tS comes with EJ engine with supercharger from GT300, it is different story

Saw this on Reddit, radio looks a little different. I realize it's a prototype, but I don't see a CD slot. Apple carplay and Android auto?

Also spot black steering wheel trim, AC surround and shifter trim/buttons.

This probably doesn't matter much, but are these going to be numbered from the factory like some of the other special editions? I haven't seen that mentioned anywhere and I don't see anything in the pictures showing a number.

Depends on whether they call it a Special Edition or just treat it as a high trim level. Sort of the difference between a Monogram or R.S.1 FRS. From what I have seen all the sites seem to think it will be more like a trim.

A trim that's limited to 500 units (United States).

For what it's worth, when I was at Boxerfest only the WRX Type RA had a numbered plate. The BRZ tS did not.
