The Jeep Cherokee has almost the same ugly mug the Aztec had.

And where exactly is your source for this?

Therefore, calling it a mustache is possibly the most stupid comment you can make about this car.
I'm not a hillbilly or anything, but I see a mustache. By your own logic that cars typically resemble faces, it's reasonable to conclude that one can see the BRZ's upper part of the grille as a mustache.

If you are against calling it a mustache, call it a mouthpiece.

Calling the bumper a mustache is an insult? We're hillbillies because somehow we think mustaches grow from inside the mouth based on a car observation? Lol, okay, sure.

EDIT: Not sure why I used "hockey puck" instead of "mouthpiece."

If cars resemble faces, it's not reasonable to conclude that something growing from inside the face's mouth is a mustache. Because faces typically do not have mustaches inside their mouths.

Unless you're accustomed to seeing friends and family with teeth so bad that hair grows on them.

But we're not seeing the mustache grow from inside the mouth as you say.

Besides, if the front fascias of cars looked like faces, should my cheeks be black? Should I have a badge on my forehead?

Point being, cars can have similarities with facial features, but they don't exactly have to look like a face. That's just horrid.

Don't bother. I fought with him earlier. He thinks they look like a mouthpiece because thats what his keepers make him wear when he goes out in case he runs into something. Probably looks pretty good with the crash helmet

I too see the idea that cars are designed with living creature attributes as worthwhile thought. Perhaps but not always on model specific details, but more so on the general architecture of a car itself, It kind of resembles a mechanical mule that after years of development has evolved to incorporate the attributes of thoroughbred horses.

If cars don't resemble faces, you shouldn't be seeing a mustache at all.

Boom.

Do your handlers let you brush your own teeth or are they worried you'll swallow the brush?

By the way, for those who don't think auto manufacturers intentionally design faces into their products:

Wall Street Journal: Why Cars Got Angry

Quote:

Quote:
There's nothing accidental about seeing faces in car grilles. In fact, carmakers say they're tapping into a hard-wired human trait. Babies can discern the features of a face practically from birth, developmental psychologists say, and recognize faces even in inanimate objects arranged in the pattern of eyes and mouth. In today's hypercompetitive car market, designers are focusing on faces as part of a broader effort to design cars that appeal to buyers -- tapping psychologists, anthropologists and other experts in human behavior, and even monitoring the brain waves of focus-group participants.
DOH!
