Modding /fucking up my leased fr-s all over the place. i don't even care. worst case is i have to buy it out at the end and eat the difference... the exact same equation that you have when selling any modded car. there's a cost/benefit to the dealership to piss you off. they can say that your cat back violated the warranty, but then they lose a lease (read "very lucrative") customer. and there's legal risk to them as well. if 10% of engines explode for a given time period, but they say that YOURS exploded because of your cat back, they risk a legal battle that is far more expensive than the repair would be.
