Geneva

I'll definitely visit the Geneva Salon.
I know a guy from the subi stand and I'll try to get some nice pics from there.
Can't wait for march!

I think th first concept was 100% pure and perfect. But thats just what it was...a concept. this teaser pic is a bit IDK for me. Bumper looks like it went a few rounds Mike tyson and got a swollen lip out of it. Then then angular dip from the outer hood/headlight are way too deep imo. I guess i love the concept so mush i was bound to be disappointed but more pic in a month plus subie version on the way...will just wait and see.

from AUTOBILD:

Toyota FT-86 II concept at Geneva 2011
In early March, we know more: Toyota wants to demonstrate to the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 by the FT-86 II concept athletic strength. The design of the production version will come very close, they say.

The Toyota FT-86 II concept is in the wings. At the Geneva Motor Show 2011, the Sports Coupé continue a 50-year-old tradition and found, according to Toyota's newly kindled passion for sports cars ". An extremely close series design promise the Japanese for the first major European show of the year on Lake Geneva.

Garage
imagine my surprise when i get home from working 16hrs straight and as i log in i read ft-86 II its 1am and ive just dropped my phone(meh im getting a new one soon newyz) from shock that its so different from the front end of the origional: the sharper eyes, the deeper crease in the bonnet and its gained what looks like alot of weight!!!
but as i see wings red version i change my mind
i really like it.
the sharper lights give it character, it looks meaner in my opinion
yes its gotten fatter(looks like its been punched a couple of times like shevon mentioned) but i like the chubbiness of it
also i doubt the crease in the hood will be that dramatic in the production version so when that is revised it will in turn will even out the swollen bits at the lower part of the bumper,
but...
i will keep my final judgement till the geneva show, but if more pics do arise thats not to say i wont comment...

Hmmmmm..... thread is at 6 pages already and isn't even 36 hours old. I wonder what will happen when Geneva takes off, especially if we get engine specs.....

Render by WingsofWar, who bumped up the gamma to see the contours and added red paint

That looks great -- nice photoshop -- but what do you guys think of the flipped headlights? I really preferred the original orientation.

Although, I have to admit, it is growing on me.
