That seems about right for what I've seen over the years for it. I've always wanted one, but just could never get myself to spend the money. The one at this link does look pretty good. The box almost looks too good!

(EDIT: OK I see now the box is listed as reproduction)

My brother was like fighting & crying so much when I got this that my mom had to get a 2nd one...=.=

I love Beast Ranger OP! (Obviously it's not the first power ranger in Japan... it's call Beast Ranger : Dino Force over there & I watched it again here as power ranger when I barely speaks any english. )

I had all the power rangers, Megazord, Dragonzord, Tigerzord and another robot from another japanese ranger series.

It's funny. I've tried like hell to recall toys my brother and I had but we didn't really have any indoor games. Our friends all had the cool trendy toys.

We still had a 9" portable B&W tv when everyone else had cable but we had a half mile grass strip for my parents' Piper Cub and Luscombe Silvaire. Land is still inexpensive where I grew up and private aviation was commonplace. Dunno what it's like now.

Absolutely! I was that kid, too. At the age of 8, I was subscribing to Elementary Electronics and Popular Electronics, and building almost everything in every issue of EE. Loved that stuff. Drove my parents nuts.. but they encouraged it.

I had Johnny West, his horse Thunderbolt, Chief Cherokee, his horse Comanche, and a bunch of their associated gear. Spent UNTOLD hours with those when I was a tyke. Some of my first memories. This thread is so bittersweet it's almost painful.. I can still feel the little plastic bow and arrow under my fingers.. the plastic long rifle.. how beautiful I though the horses were. Man, this takes me back to places I haven't been in many, many decades. Thanks, guys.

My dad was a garbage man when I was a kid. He used to bring home all sorts of electronics, motors and drives, small engines and other cool crap for me to mess with. I learned early in life that a capacitor can hold a charge for a very long time!

My sister had a pile of that stuff (not a slam she was weird). Ya this whole thread has been very nostalgic but could get expensive as I keep thinking of things I want again.
