Plan on a bit over an hour after getting a buddy to help you out with both, assuming you have all the tools at hand. I'd strongly recommend getting a Grimmspeed pulley tool to remove your crank pulley even with a MT car. The pulley kept moving on me when trying to break the pulley bolt loose with a large breaker bar with the car in 6th and ebrake yanked. Use the long thin bolts with that tool and buddy holding a second 1/2" breaker bar and you'll be able to break it loose with a 2 or 3 foot breaker bar. The intake you could do yourself but if you want to remove the stock intake snorkel you'll need your buddy to hold the bumper back after unbolting the top portion. Have them hold the section nearest the passenger headlight up enough to GENTLY pull/wiggle/maneuver the snorkel out after using an open ended wrench to remove the two bolts holding it on. So I was considering pulling my side markers and spraying them with lens tint paint, but I decided after seeing @2pt5RS's car with Lamin-X that I'd go with those. I went with the 30% charcoal tint for both markers and the reverse lights.
They shipped today so I hope to have them on by this weekend to share some pics. Hoping the reverse lights won't be too dark afterwards, but I can always just peel it off. |

My Lamin-x pieces arrived today. I hate installing these things because I never get it perfect, but things turned out okay this time since I was being extremely careful. Managed to get the excess trimmed and tucked in nicely keeping the lenses on the car.

Still loving the intake and pulley as my first mods under the hood! Looking forward to getting dome, trunk, and plate LED's installed this week as well as a full 6hr polish/detail and Wolf's Hard Body coating done on Thursday
