The main factor is my Apexi Exhaust. It's 2.36in i.e. 60mm.

Is it because the 6 psi is tuned more aggressively while kayhettin and yours is tuned very conservatively which would explain why there isn't a bigger difference?
Yes, as I tuner I like to avoid running too much boost if the timing is not available. Sure it's cool to say you can tune a stock engine to 14psi on pump gas, but in the end the engine is not happy at all and will not give you a very good return in whp per psi.

Even at 6 psi, we're just barely able to achieve mbt timing. I know this because all of our tuning is done on a very accurate reading dyno. Above 300whp, we're tuning with the knock limitations of the fuel in mind. This is the reason we're not getting the same power return per pound of boost when we go higher in boost. With that said, I still think it is worth going to 9psi for those looking to break 300whp on our dyno. I would definitely not look to go any further on 93 pump gas though. If we were to run 100 octane fuel or WMI, we'd be able to tune for mbt timing, run a leaner AFR, and likely be closer to the 330+whp range at 9psi. Hope this makes sense.

Kayhettin's car is the only car of the three initial releases that does not use our 3" DS-333 exhaust system. It still makes very good power, but loses a bit on the top end due to the 2.35" chambered muffler exhaust system.

One thing to note too for those that are curious about the UEL vs UL vs small turbo vs large turbo debate. Our particular combination of the factory UL manifold and large turbo makes great torque way down low and at the same time makes usable power all the way to the new 8K redline There is not a huge drop off in in power after the usual power peak, hence our reasoning for tuning to 8K. With our 4-1 UL race header in place, we were seeing peak power that held all the way to 8K+ rpms. Just some food for thought.

It's fine as long as you have a very good tune.

Wow it's crazy seeing 200tq at a little over 3k RPM's. I'm guessing that's compliments to the pipe work and Toan on the tuning of course? The other guys running the gt28 and gtx28 are seeing that kind of torque at a little under 4k RPM if I'm not mistaken right? I'm new to all this but have gotten accustomed to all their dyno plots and wasn't expecting this. It's great stuff. To the guys making this kind of HP what are you doing about wheels? Are any of you running stock? That's what's holding me back right now. @ptuning has my kit ready for me but I'm thinking of waiting until like next March because of snow and stuff. This is my daily

You should be able to daily it as long as you're not hard on the throttle it (under 3k rpms). I'm running Yokohama Advan Ultra High performance summer tires. I'm looking to get some winters on my stock wheels. But also looking to get a beater as well.

How do you think the turbo would perform with a P&L 4-1 EL header? I may be looking at the kit early next year but using a GTX2876R instead. I don't suppose you have anyone using one of those or a GT3071?
