LOL I was kind of thinking of hitting La honda too before I stop. Why don't we meet at La Honda post office around 7:20 and then we can cruise back to Alice's haha.

good seeing you guys again, fun little drive to Alice's and good times there. Guess the drive home was a little hairy with the fog, tropical rainforest atmosphere and then random dogs running around in the road.

PMok's kill count for the night: 0.

Yeah it was good seeing everyone. That was a pretty fun drive back, except for when we came up on that pickup that had its hazards on. I thought it was just someone driving really slow until I saw the dogs running around the road. Hope everything turned out ok.

Yeah, good seeing everyone, always nice chatting with you guys, plus the MR2 guys are always cool. Alice burgers were good, but I think I like the breakfast better. Fun (but a little sketchy) drive back, thought it would be clear, but we still hit a couple of foggy patches there. The dogs were the kicker, looked like that truck was trying to figure out what to do with them. I would have done the same, but those pups didn't have collars/ They looked friendly and all, but not in the middle of a dark, semi busy road. Good caravan on the way back, got me back right on time

Fun evening. Fun going down the street, slow coming up. Otherwise, made a few new names with the MR2 group and fun dinner with them as well. Dogs on the street was a surprise, I thought the truck was drunk and decided to stop in the middle...then the dogs appeared. Fun drive on 92 (I thought B said he was going to go slow, yeah right haha )...great pace for the four of us.

Nice meeting the first ultramarine BRZ I've seen yet.

I wonder if I could do this in one day without hitting tons of traffic if I left at 6am: http://goo.gl/maps/clwWT

For sure. I've actually done that exact route but going the other way. Took me more like 5 hrs. (with breaks, etc.) on a week day. Starting at 6 might be ok for the first leg (redwood+palomares) but I think you would be running into cyclists, etc. as you get to mines (~9-10am). Epic drive, I just don't usually get that kind of free time

Yes. Depending how many breaks you take and how long you take those breaks, that route can be done in a day.

Last month, I stared from Berkeley (Philz Coffee run) to SJ (thru Hamilton) took about ~3hrs non-stop and about half tank. I was going to add Calaveras but someone had woken up wanted her Philz.
