Primary tubing is 2.5", but 3" @ the merged section.
That's a lot more than the original at 16lbs.
It looks bigger diameter at the flange than the previous one and that was 2.5" at the primary with more and less than that where it meets the secondaries and they squash it to blend.

Does it have offset mufflers?

I got this snippit about a month ago from John at Nameless.
He didn't say it was top secret so I assume it's out there.[Hope so, it is now!]

Offset is what I ordered.

Just bolt ons for now. Probably putting a hairdryer in it for the '14 season & jumping to Street Mod in SCCA classing.

Ah, they dropped this jewel quite some time ago.

Not keen on that set up.
Why not keep it single until the back so that's it's just one pipe and resonator, then the split and 2 mufflers?
Too much weight for no performance gain.

They've already said that any 2.5" centre pipe with resonator that they build will be heavier than the stock one. That version will be twice as heavy.

The only advantage is that it goes either side of the diff for clearance and is in balance but it's not worth the weight penalty.

Please, post a video as soon as you can. I may look into changing mine for this....

Edit: Just spoke to Ryan@Nameless. They will be offering a 3" Catback. The new axleback has WRX Mandrell bends and that helps keep their cost down.

Eventually I will replace my axleback with this.

If you weren't far away I would buy your offset axleback and sell my axleback. The offset, I assume, reduces the volume in the car in the lower rpm range? That is my only criticism, the sound is better than I had hoped.

Yeah, it reduces volume at lower RPM range you are correct. I won't sweat it too much, this is very long term planing (of course if you were close we could make a deal!)

This 3" option may be a better long term investment if I plan on going FI a year or two down the road.

Perhaps?

Hasn't 2.5" been estimated as suitable up to 350hp?
Also the larger volumes for flow are more critical close the turbo outlet, decreasing as the temperature falls and volume/pressure decreases towards the back of the system.

Yep, that is true. I stopped my thoughts for a moment because I was getting carried away. The truth is the setup I have right now is good enough for my HP goals. 3" won't be needed until north on 300 WHP.

Yeah, the 2.5" system is probably more than sufficient for me. This 3" option is just throwing me off again. I think I like their revisions and new products too much.

My initial goal is a header + exhaust, already have my intake, then tuning the car. That alone would maybe get me close to 200 whp. If I were to go an FI path, I'd probably supercharge to eliminate that torque dip for good. I don't think that will push above 300 supercharged with that tune.

Keep in mind all SC kits to date still have the dip. Some TC kits have eliminated it. Just a thought, there is no wrong either way.
