Okay guys, so i have news. I am going to be getting the car in about three months, and i need help quick. I figured that i am going to get these wheels.
https://www.carid.com/ns-series-whee...452173474.html

and these spacers

https://hardcoreparts.com/automotive...3-fr-s-6537803

Do you all think that would be wide enough for this kit?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/32411197712...Cclp%3A2334524

Before you all start roasting me about it being from ebay, my friend bought that kit, and he drifted in to a sand block thing and it held up very well. so, all in all do you guys think it will look good? the car is white, and im thinking of keeping the kit black
here is the car im looking at.

Hi from western Canada!

Hello there,

Newly registered member from Canada, southern Alberta to be more specific. I got my 2014 Scion FR-S back in August of 2019. I've had my fair share of owning Toyota's in the last 23 years of my car life and a few Subaru's as well (but mostly Toyota's).

I suppose some obligatory pics are in order?

Cheerio!

Last week I got a Hakone Edition 86, which is my first Toyota and/or Subaru. Over the years I've had 4 VWs, 6 Fords, 3 Hondas, 1 Acura, 1 Chrysler, 3 Audis, 1 BMW, 1 Porsche and 1 Chevy. So far, nothing Italian, British, French, Swedish or Korean, but there's still time.
Question- do all photos have to be hosted online somewhere before they can be inserted in a post?

Another newb

Hello,

I'm not yet an owner of one of these cars but I test drove a 2020 Toyota 86 today and liked it, so I'm planning to get one.

If I can find one I like...

I may have to wait for the 2022's to come out to get something with the options and color I want. Toyota's website won't even let you "build" anything but a non-GT automatic right now for some reason, and no dealership less than 200 miles from where I live even has one (I was up in KC today anyway, so I stopped by the only place I could find there that had any.)

Normally, I'd be entirely behind the idea of waiting for a '22 (other than the waiting part). More power, probably better handling... but WTF was Toyota thinking with that "face-lift"? The current 86's look aggressive and awesome. The '22s look like... a Mitsubishi.

That's disappointing, and the car looks kind of disappointed too. (IMO)

Anyway, looking forward to spending more time here asking (and hopefully answering) questions once I am able to find someone with the right car in stock.

Welcome Tommy TuTone and congrats. Looks like you got the photo upload sorted.

Back when that song was new, the band I was in covered it. (I played bass.) So when I needed a screen name I wanted something with 8-6 in it and that's the first thing that came to mind.
