Once you start exaggerating how do you move to "over" exaggerating? Is there a "correct" amount of exaggerating that shouldn't be exceeded? How do you know when you've reached the limit?

The way I've always thought of it is that it's human nature to exaggerate. So naturally you should expect some of that, and then if it gets to just be ridiculously too much, then it's over-exaggerating.

Unfortunately any process other than the official process could turn into legal trouble. If memory serves, the loan could be rescinded because you were not legally approved proof of employment (I went through hell to get my proof of employment when my wife lost her job and we needed a refi to get the payment right for single income... Glad I did because 50 interviews this year alone and she keeps losing to internal candidates at the end)
Hopefully all remains well in this case.
wouldn't that technically be on the bank in ichi's case though? because he first sent them to the right channel, and the second time around made it clear that he wasn't part of HR, gave them his name/title--indicating he wasn't HR, and only stated that he knew that Silvia was employed there...

seems like the appropriate action would've been for the bank to postpone the closing until they can get proper work authorization. for them to accept any other persons word on the matter is a failure of their procedure, and ichi made it clear that he wasn't in a position to give that...

i spent nearly all of my free time in 2014-2017 looking at wheels for the car...

there's some very deep rabbit holes there!

The bank should not have accepted, maybe. Depends on their pollicy. Mine wouldn't take what was available initially, and my employer was "well that's what we offer". Not sure how that got sorted, maybe the underwriters decided it was enough in my case. No idea.
The problem is if anything falls out of it. In such a case they look for a scapegoat. Could be the bank, could be ichi. If the loan had been denied for any reason it'd put ichi at risk.

Noob trainer got lectured today by several of the senior most trainers because he let his ego get to him. He has no experience with core barbell lifts or powerlifting, yet took on a client who wants to compete. We all watched his incompetence. They pulled him aside and lectured him for about 20 min. It felt great to witness this as he's been quite the little shit.

sounds like the last person i'd want to train me for competition...

a new guy that's careful is one thing. but cocky only works for experienced people with credentials behind them.

I have a decent amount of experience and credentials but there are things that I won't work with as I don't have experience in them. I.e. powerlifting or bodybuilding. I'll do Olympic lifts and get you started, but I've never competed so it's outside my realm. Especially since my schtick is tactical strength and conditioning and sports performance.

While I understand your point, I hope that by the time credentials and experience are achieved, cocky has long since been eliminated.

...I hope.

In my limited experience (68 years) I've found that the more credentials and experience one has the less they will say the actually know. For the statistically minded, my favorite saying is "life is determined by the error term." IOW - we're at the mercy of randomly generated shit.

I was just reading an article about how depending on if numbers really do go on forever or if (intuitisionism) math is purely a human mental construct which would mean they basically don't unless we are actively calculating them that we could actually lose information (in like black holes or whatever) and some information we may not be able to ever predict. Which all sounds kind of pseudo-scientific/mathematic compared to what current theory we have except that it apparently works well enough with quantum physics that it's actually being realistically considered. *If* it's true though then the Universe is truly undeterministic, rather than being maybe to be someday completely measurable. I gotta stop clicking these math/physics click-bait articles.

Oh trust me, my wife went through that on both puppy AND baby. Baby, she went into depression. Went so far south, she was thinking of suicide. She was perfectionist, so she felt she wasn’t “good” mother for the baby. It took few months, but she recovered & understand that, there’s no such thing as a “perfect” mother.

On my random note.
I’ve seen these kind of things online, but have never expect to see one myself lmao

Mmm... that's an interesting concept I've not considered before.
If one eats a good diet with fibre is one's shit random or regular?
I know from experience with dodgy take-away meals random shit can be messy.
