I was in Austin for last year's F1 race. I was just thinking how much of a blast I would have taking my BRZ around that track.

It was nice after the rain cleared. Turnout wasn't as huge this time, but a Corvette fell off the Dyno, lol... The guy braked hard and stopped it after 5 feet. Must be pretty used to it after the hundreds upon thousands of cars he's probably done.

I was the only FR-S there. Hopefully there will be better weather before it starts at the next one.

The Leander cars and coffee is every bit as good as the John Eagle one so I go to both since the Leander one is every first Sunday while the John Eagle one is every second Sunday. Either way, great way to get outside, see some cars, and meet new people.

MTCLMR?

I spotted my first BRZ in Austin, a silver BRZ w/a customer plate (MTCLMR). If you're on the forums, I noticed you rigged the triangle reflector as a brake light. I was wondering if you could share some pics of your wiring job or if I could see it (at cars and coffee maybe?) sometime. I'm really interested in doing this too but wanted to see an example in-person if possible.

thanks!

Look in the DYI section for the 4th brake light. They have a few write ups on how to do it yourself. Also F n A has a 4th brake kit already done is another option.

Howdy all..

Just want to say hello to my Eight-Six neighbors. New to the forum but have had my WhiteOut FR-S since Jan. 28th. I'm just less than 30 miles from the 1000 mile break in mark. After just over 8 yrs with just my 4-runner, I purchased the FR-S. I definitely missed being low and sporty. I'll post pics this week after I get my Five Axis kit installed tomorrow.

Also sighted a another WhiteOut FR-S Saturday morning in the parking lot of Gold's Gym/Academy off William Cannon and 35. Had Gold colored rims with paper plates.

If you see a whiteout FR-S with the plates G33Z3R, that will be me.

Here is a new picture before I went to CCM this past weekend in San Antonio. If you have never gone to one of these events they are a lot of fun and there is a ton of cars. Also have armature Drifting, with funds going to a good cause.

Pretty bad The hood is ruined, some major dents on the roof and trunk too. I'll try to get pictures up tonight.

Do you have good coverage? I say if you don't replace the hood and try and pop the ones out of the roof and trunk.. Where in Austin did this happen I wanna know how far away I was from this happening to me.
