That was my guess as well. Quite a bit of pressure, momentary heat, but no apparent shrapnel inside the cab.

Trail cam. Find out who it is. Ask them to stop. Retaliation isn't worth it when someone knows where you live. Motion activated sprinkler is also a good option.

I am dealing with this too, there is a dog in my neighborhood that the owners let wander around and he poops in my driveway and pees on my truck tire. I posted on the community FB board that I would like it to stop or I am trapping the dog in my yard and calling animal control. Hasn't happened in a few weeks now.

This seems like a good place to vent.
I've been on the lookout for a BBK. Last couple of weeks there were 3 listed in the classifieds. One guy finally lowered his price a bit and after a little back and forth, we agreed on a price and pickup time and place. The day before the scheduled pickup, he pm's me and calls off the deal saying someone had offered $141 more than our agreed-on price. He said that he was sorry.

Do I let it go? Trash him in a review? Or, find out where he lives and leave dog poop on his front porch? I'm open to suggestions.

Guys, thoughts on the quality of construction/workmanship/welding on this $275 made in USA frontpipe?

I'm no weld expert, but I believe this is clear evidence of partial burn through, like the flange welds on the outside of the pipe were too hot and started melting the actual piping, and that's what these gray raised/bubbled areas are on the inside of the pipe. Looks like they actually tried to grind some off in one spot but left the rest.

I'm not too happy with the QC here and I've asked the vendor I purchased it from about getting it swapped out for a different one.

As a non-functional aside, there's also oily weld slag inside the pipe.
