Whelp, lots of action here today. The landowner of the field north of my work along with local PD and the land owner of the complex where I work are evicting and dismantling the homeless camp in the field. Nobody has been shot or stabbed yet.

That was me with my coffee this morning. There are 18 vehicles counting about 8 class A motor homes out there. They have a front end loader with forks and 10K class 7 lift to move the inop vehicles, which is most of them.

Holy shit did anyone else see the slam McAdoo took at Atlanta 2? Bones of steel. Then gets back up and grabs a podium. Probably one of the hardest hits I have seen anyone take in any sport.

Cost of living is relatively reasonable (if you stay out of Seattle). Of the places I have lived, I like the PNW the best. I have lived in Ohio (23 yrs), Germany (2 yrs), California (10 Yrs), Connecticut (7 years), Missouri (7 yrs) and Washington about 30 years.

I have a bit of a weird problem at my new apartment.
I think they must've repainted the unit before I moved in, so the shower/bathtub floor has some little almost grain-like spots that are stuck to the floor. Almost like burrs or something. I've seen other areas in the unit where it's pretty obvious the paint job was rushed. So it's not too surprising that this is a thing. They don't hurt to walk on or feel while showering, but it's super uncomfortable. Anyone have any ideas of how I could maybe remove them? The obvious thing is maybe just getting sandpaper and maybe sanding them down but the things are small enough that sandpaper might be overkill.
