No reason to unless you need a base tune that you can trust or don't want to get a custom tune.

You wouldn't be able to use it as a base tune though, in order to get the EO they can't allow the tune to be modified...

That's why you have two tunes. So you can switch back and forth. Buddy of mine has that set up on his turbo FRS. One map for low boost and one for high boost.

In this instance you could have one tune be the carb tune and one that's custom.

I meant a base tune as in something to run without getting a custom tune or do any work other than installing. I know the CARB tune is locked and can't be modified.

Kind of a silly question but does anyone know if the e-force has that beautiful supercharger whine?

Kind of a must for me lol.

No it doesn't because it's a TVS type supercharger. The Sprintex 210 and 335 (twin screw) do however as do any roots type superchargers. See my build thread videos for that lovely supercharger whine sound (I have 210).

Unfortunately, it will be very subtle, might be able to hear when giving it the beans, but most of the time, it will be quiet.

The TVS is a line made by Eaton, it is not its own 'type', it is a roots blower.

What is the obsession with the whine? That might sound cool for the first five minutes but I would think it gets annoying. Get this kit and get the high efficiency (that whine is power being turned into sound energy) and if you need an annoying noise in your car switch to solid transmission mounts, that will give you a wonderfully irritating howl.

From what I've seen the twin screw is louder. If you disagree please provide a video of a TVS supercharger that makes noise please.

I could careless about the sound it makes, as long as it performs as needed.

Cosworth SC which uses an Eaton TVS 900.
