Interesting, now they are saying it may be oil passage ways that are not getting enough oil to control the oil control valves which adjust the vvti gears which adjust cam timing. Saying this is why idle is rough. Its getting good now.

Where is this info coming from? I've heard nothing at the dealership level.

It was from a conversation on the facebook page they created for the issue with "someone" that knows somebody.

My contact at autonews reported on the issue and spoke with Toyota pointing adjust the ecu issue.

I guy I work with lived 5 miles from knotts. He's got the low down on where to stay etc. I'm just waiting to see who al is able to go then I was going t get room lined up. I just fig drive up in the morning on the 17th then hang out a bit on the 18Th during the day and be home that night. Cheap, fun trip.
