I do work a lot with both government and industry specific regulations (e.g. HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, SOX, ISO), and in many cases the people doing the certification don't fully understand the subject matter, so if A does not exactly match B, it fails. Maybe to offer some blind hope, Harrop USA may have been registered to help get around misunderstandings with the company being based in Australia. Entirely possible that it is irrelevant, but maybe not. |

Not really, no. You can feel the timing advance between Petro Can 94 (upto 15% ethanol) and Shell 91 (0% ethanol), but the 10% better mileage is worth it. |

Hi just recently purchased a frs with a harrop kit. Unfortunately I can’t pass smog, so I want to have the kit removed, what are the parts I will need, the seller didn’t have any more of the stock parts.
Thanks in advance for the help! |

What if I said that there's a possibility that you may be able to pass smog with the kit in the near future?

Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting a Harrop kit. For ages I was wanting a Innovate SC but the issues surrounding heat-soak, vacuum leaks and how it drinks oil through the intake kind of putting me off a bit.
Just wondering if there are any such issues with the Harrop kit? This is for a daily driver and I want a relatively 'set & forget' kit. My days of fixing car issues every weekend are kind of behind me. I'm in NZ so the CARB issues aren't a problem. I can run 98RON... I wonder what pulley I can get away with? Although I would have expected a bit of a cheaper shipping rate. $320AUD for shipping across the pond? Seems steep. |

I don’t think anyone has had any issues related to the kit. The only thing that I could see as an improvement would be a surge tank. It seems like I’ve had occasional coolant leaks in the beginning at the weakest link in the pipes. I would imagine vapor would need a place to escape.
