This is surprising to me. Both my brothers 2014 Ford and the VW GTI I had before you could disable the system with whatever computer program the dealer used.

Maybe the ECU or the software is just not as complex? On the GTI, if you change region from USA to Europe you could change literally ANYTHING including auto window up and down, ABS sensitivity and the manipulation of any lights on the dashboard (including TPMS).

Anyway how about some pictures from my trip to Palawan. I'm still in the Philippines but I'm in Davao now. Pretty much the only white guy in Davao. lol.

might also just be different standards. toyota locks certain things that other manufacturers don't? and considering the vw diesel thing... haha

also those pictures you posted are damn gorgeous.

Yeah, who knows. lol. I'm sure there's a way to hack the system tho.

Haha, nah, I'm just being dramatic. It wasn't too bad actually, just miserable moving heavy ass boxes and furniture in that heat.

Man, I miss Palawan, probably one of the prettiest places I've been. It's a lot more chill and less touristy that the other islands. You should be glad you're the only white guy there, they are probably all in Boracay lol

Was at the airshow here in Sacramento the past 4 days taking photos. Still have a lot of pictures to get through but this is my favorite shot so far.

Check out Montana Motorsports in Benicia. I work there every so often and they do tons of great work. Really nice guys as well.
