Anyone that has there car in storage going to see andre?

I want to do full fluid change, id do it myself, but i dont have a way of doing the diff , and not sure how difficult the trans would be..

Wish I had the stuff to take the fluid out of the diff, and fill it easy myself, i enjoy doing this kind of stuff!

They're both pretty easy. If you can do your own oil change, you can do the diff and (manual) transmission as well. I've done them myself a few times. The trans and diff both have drain plugs just like the engine. For filling them, a hand (siphon) pump is cheap, and makes the job a breeze. If it's not something you want to do yourself, Andre will treat you right.

What gas is everyone running in their car? Shell 91 or petro ultra 94? I definitely get better mileage with shell 91 but the car pulls better with ultra 94...although I get the damn crickets

I run Shell91 in the off-season, otherwise it was 94 for trackdays before I went to E85. Will probably go E85 all summer again.

If you think 94 pulls better, wait till you try E85 (if you have a tune for it).

I get shitty mileage no matter what I use (over 10l/100kms) but that's only because I drive it like a madman.

Lol yea I drive mine pretty hard as well. I've been going back between 94 and shell 91. No tune yet but do plan on it eventually...probably once my warranty is done. Would like to experience the difference of running E85. Right now I want to upgrade the exhaust and sound system. Stock speakers are not bad but would like to upgrade to focal speakers and a sub.

Even if I wasn't selling the OFT, I would suggest getting a tune sooner than end of warranty. It will improve the driveability of the car so much and will enhance your enjoyment of the car.

6. Corey
7. Ken
8. Andrew

I've noticed the same. The car is not as sensitive in the cold weather, but in the heat of summer, I can notice the difference between Shell 91 and Petro 94. So much so that I run the 94 despite the crickets I get with it. I'm also one of those 2-stroke guys...I've found adding 2 ounces of good quality 2-stroke oil to my tank at fill-up effectively kills the crickets with Ultra 94. It sounds questionable, but it works.

Can you adjust the idle speed with the OFT? I sometimes get a bit of an off-idle stumble when leaving a stop light. For a 2 liter 4 cyl, I think 650 RPM is a tad low...being able to bump it up to around 800 should cure it for me. If it is possible, that alone would make it worth the money.

That used to be a common thing with the RX-8, but in that case it was to help lubricate the apex seals.

Iirc, the OFT raises the idle to 750. I used to have the same issue, but not since the OFT.
