Hey, the 1965 Buick Electra was "only" 4200 lbs. That's not that much different than a lot of sedans today.

Be careful what you wish for. Lada is now controlled by Renault and there is talk of them coming back to the NORTH American market. My father-in-law had a Niva back in late 70's. It was a very simplistic vehicle which was a good thing as you were constantly working on it.
Fun Fact about the Niva my father-in-law owned. It had removable door in the floor so you could ice fish while sitting in the comfort of your Lada.

+1 to Sonicare. I just got one 6 months ago and my teeth feel like they have just been cleaned at the dentist after every use.

They aren't cheap compared to a regular brush... but if you consider the cost of dental work it is totally worth it in my opinion.
