Anyone else start getting P0451 - Evaporative Emission System Pressure Sensor/Switch Range/Performance? Checked all the hoses and they are fully on. Thinking its the fitting to supercharger because it swivels real easy... Been going strong for 10k miles. Guess i will just order up the brass fittings and try that, seeing as its the last thing I can think of besides the sensor itself.

Recently ordered and installed Sprintex SPS stage 2 intercooled kit into my '14 GT86. Which turns out to be NZ's first unit as it is a revised version of stage 1 and introduced in 2016.
Was making 250whp and 285nm on base tune and got it custom tuned and gained to 277whp (326hp crank) and 317nm.
And god she whines loud.

If the fitting swivels it most likely is leaking. I had that problem (air leaks, not the code) and put yellow Teflon tape (thicker than white) on the brass fittings and tightened them more than before. No more leaks after that.

SPS brothers!!! The SPS system goes above and beyond what I and Delicious Tuning expected. I was the first Toyota 86 in Aus to have one
I've actually sold it and moved on to a Borg Warner EFR turbo so for now it's no whine life for me :'(

Let me know if that does it for you. I've been struggling with this CEL code for awhile now. My car is currently in the shop and they are having trouble diagnosing the leak. They found a leak, but apparently Sprintex says it's a "known leak" with the supercharger and is nothing out of the ordinary. I am thinking about having the brass fittings put on anyways just to make sure.

Did they test the evap solenoid itself? I am going to do as BrianHJ said and just replace the fitting (hopefully this weekend)

Found this. Maybe it'll provide some insight? Apparently it is only used as diagnostics, and can be disabled without too much worry (although if it were me, I'd try to solve the problem, just like you, and keep it activated).
Definitely something to do with the evap solenoid and it's fuel line.

Double check your purge line. Make sure it isn't clogged/restricted.

Do you know if bullet or MRT can upgrade an old/installed kit to SPS specs?
Probably a questions for them.

Yeah I have seen that site as well, there is a definitely a problem with the car though. It does not drive well and has a rough idle and will just stall out in idle as well. Currently we're replacing the plastic fittings with brass ones but I believe the real issue lies in a leak we found here:

Right where that red circle is, I found this from an earlier post, but never saw any resolution to the leak here. We spray there and get rpm fluctuations. Has anyone else dealt with this leak before. Sprintex has told us this is a "known leak" and is normal. I have my doubts on that....
