Notionally they fill the gap between the b-pillar structure and the doors frame, thus providing a new compression vector between the a pillar (door hinges) and the b pillar (door stabilizer). This also reduces play in the door latch causing it to take up tension forces a bit earlier. Those combine to effectively increase the stiffness of the chassis. This is all based on the idea that the car flexes as you drive it and as it flexes the door itself can now take up some of the load. |

Neighbour's house went up for sale on Saturday. Asking price $725,000. It sold yesterday for $800,000. It's a weird multi level one story layout with a crawl space under the "A" frame section and the smallish living room at the far end on ground level with sliding doors to the front. It's 300 ft. of water frontage but is lower than our property so is subject to flooding, hence no basement. Property values in my area are crazy right now.

Well got turned down because my ****bag leadership doesn't give two fucks. Guess now is better than ever to pack up and go for a nice vacation while I reevaluate things.

That sucks, makes it easier to make a decision down the road.

Monkey like shiny.
I borrowed one of these from a friend for a while and liked it enough to buy one. Claimed 250ftlbs out of this little guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm very sorry. Remember to keep your cool. Stay pro. It's especially hard to keep from lashing out but absolutely worth it in the long run. Sorry if preachy. I know the pain.

I appreciate the advice. I don't plan to lash out because that will just cause more problems. However, I am going to take some time off to process it all.
