I watched a guy commit suicide with is character the other day while I was at the Tower. I was standing there facing the North Tower getting ready to go to orbit and I saw this guy running at full sprint on the top catwalk. As he got the end of the catwalk he jumped off of the catwalk and went over the cliff. I couldn't stop chuckling for about 5 minutes. You see some really random stuff at the Tower.

I also saw a female human Hunter standing at one of the vaults and she had a very girly name. There was probably 10-15 dudes all huddled around her dancing and jumping up and down. That made me laugh.

Then there was the flash mob one time that was running around as a group and getting up on individuals as they were trying to conduct business and then they'd start dancing around them.

I tried dancing with a Dreg once just to see if the AI would do something funny but instead he kept growling and slashing me with his knife so once I got down to half health I just supered him into oblivion.

Just totally cheesed the weekly. Hid in the room where you first entered the summoning pits, waiting for whatever that thing is called to spawn then running back and waiting for it to disappear and take shots at phogoth.

So is anyone here a member of a clan? I got tired of not being able to do the VoG so I requested membership in a couple of them off the Destiny APP. Two of them responded and added me to their clan. Maybe dumb question, but what, if any, kind of clan etiquette is there? Like, is it wrong to be in a couple clans at the same time? I guess it could depend on the specific clan too. I've read that some are very hardcore and actually make people "test" for their clan and some are just laid back come as you go types.

LOL, yeah I could see that being pretty furstrating. I usually get my business done and then get out of dodge. The only time I "hang out there" is when I have to take a break to use restroom, eat, etc. then I may just leave my character sittitng there since there's no "pause" function in the game.

It depends on the game/clan.
Some are cool with it and others will put your head on a pitch fork.

Other than the trophy, there is no benefit of a clan :p

My clan is pretty much people on my friends list.

The nightfall? What level are you and how long did it take?

I read a guide and it seems pretty easy. Seems like the real struggle is the same as last week, namely the 3rd wave while dinklebot unlocks the doors. At least it's wizards this week which would will be easier than the Captains from last week thanks to my Icebreaker.

If he's standing at a vendor, and you're in a fireteam, there's collision so you can push him around. What you do is push him to the complete opposite side of the Tower or something, so when he exits the screen he's in he's all "WTF?"

My (whole three person) clan doesn't give a shit. Lots of others don't too.

Double edged sword. Some of those clans have skills on par with their annoyance level. Could be powerful allies if you're willing to put up with it.

Thanks everyone. I know I'm new at all this but I figured that there was probably some sort of "etiquette" whether written or unofficial. I'm just trying to be proactive so I don't create any hate/animosity with a group. I actually requested to join the clan of the 2 guys I played with last night, they seemed friendly enough and were looking for help on the weekly. I'll just message all three and find out if any of them have issues with me being on more than one clan.
