Today while driving, I was unknowingly going over the speed limit by about 20 mph. Two motorcycle policemen saw me and waved for me to slow down. I waved and nodded my head thanking them and they gave me a thumbs up. I am not saying it is because they car is a beaut, maybe they were just feeling nice today. I still like to think it was due to the car though.

I was at the gas sation, 1 guy was like what car is that never seen it before is it a 2013 ?

Im like yah its a scion FR-S just came out, he is like it looks great have a good one.

Same gas station 1 minute later, old dude comes up starts getting really close to me ask is that a sports car looks fast?

How much horsepower, im like 200.

He was like oh thats all my Chevy SS trailblazer will beat that thing any day any time, Im like probably on a straight line sure but on the turns not really. He is like yea even on the turns I got really wide tires. Im like not really but ok, he is like come on lets race.

Im like have a good day, he is like no for real lets race saying it laughing.

I've had guys ask to take pictures of it while at the gas station, most look kind of shocked when they see a girl getting out of the car though. Might be a good way to pick up guys? Too bad all the ones that have been taking pictures look about 30 years older than me! haha. I do get tired of hearing "Is it fast?"

Next time you hear that, you should come back with, "are you hung?" and watch for the reaction. Then add, "it's not about how fast it is, it's how you use it!"

I gave some random guy a ride yesterday. He asked me how I liked it and all I could say was fun. I let him get a little drive in it, then we hopped in his Rx8.

I must say, the Rx8 has amazing power after 4.5k rpm.

We used to have a competing company called Zellers, but, they have been liquidated and split between Walmart and Target. The first Target has yet to open.

I have only been inside a Target a few times in the past 5 years.

My point is -- you don't need these big box retailers to survive.

Next time just say "It's modified, it has 420 horsepower". That'll keep from most people wanting to race ya.

Is that a turquoise MGB-GT in the middle? Had a buddy in the 60's who had an MGA Twin Cam that I learned how to do valve jobs on every winter. It was a great learning experience for when I bought my 68 T120 and put at least 80,000 miles on it before buying a car.

BACK STORY:
My family owns and operates the garbage company in our town and on the weekends i run our "transfer station"(people drive up, and pay money to drop off trash instead of having it picked up at the roadside). My normal duties include taking money/telling customers where to go/ running a roll off truck, an old Kenworth with a 53 foot trailer, and back ho.

On the weekends there is only myself and a guy named Travis working, so in the parking lot(about 30 feet from where we take the customers money) there is my 1 day old blue FRS and Travis's '88 primer grey chevy truck.

About 2pm saturday i was running the back ho and Travis was tending to the customers. A guy in an old beater ford pickup rolls up, looks over at my car, then back at travis, back at my car, then back at travis again and says, "Is that your car?"
"No, its that guys over there in the back ho"
The guy looks up at me (i'm totally oblivious to whats going on), then back at my car and says "Fucking asshole" with a smirk and a chuckle.

All weekend i've been known as the asshole lol.
