So my first post here was 3 weeks ago. And I regretfully have to make this follow up post... I made a stupid move and cost myself the car. Luckily nobody was hurt and I had full coverage. I'm also getting 2k more than I paid for it . I will hopefully be back on here within a few weeks with a 2013 frs-whiteout.

Hi Guys/Gals. Don't have a FR-S, but am here for some research on them. Lots to read here and that is what I will mostly be doing. I am particularly interested in tracking one, I have been doing track days for 14 years and am considering something "completely different" from my MKIV. I see lots of good info in the relevant subforum.

Yeah absolutely a wealth of knowledge here! And some half decent people to boot! So if you have any question ask away!

Just added a 2015 Scion FR-S to the stable (my first one). It is a certified pre-owned purchase. I was very happy to discover that it has the OEM all weather floor mats, the OEM arm rest, TRD exhaust and the windows are already tinted. I have ordered a GT86 matte black badge kit and also some LED's (headlights, interior, back up, etc).

Also own a '04 Mazdaspeed MX-5 and a 1974 Fiat 124 Spider.

New owner of a Toyota 860 Special Edition Auto in Halo white. So far I love the car except for that darn mid-RPM torque dip. I may have to address that in the future.

After 27 years of riding motorcycles, I decided it was time to hang up the helmet, and get a sporty car that was within my budget, a 2017 Toyota 86.

I look forward to reading your posts and insight.

Welcome. Remember to be nice during the break-in miles. You won't really notice that torque dip if you stay under 4k.

I'm trying to be nice. The struggle is real.

Hey all. I am from West Palm Beach, FL. I bought my 2016 whiteout FRS 2 months ago.
I am absolutely in love with this car. Previous rides included turbo 240sx and a foxbody mustang. This car is a lot of fun.
I have valenti tails and side markers on order and my turbo kit should be here next week.
I did my first autocross event 3 weeks ago and doing my next one next Saturday. Yesterday I ran the 1/4 mile track, trying to get a lot of stock configuration events in before I start modifying the car.
I have been reading a lot on these forums and have gathered a lot of useful information. Next modifications include RPF1s with decent rubber and coilovers.
Thanks for having me!
