Had the kid at the Taco Bell drive-thru nearly fall out of his window (not really, but he was leaning out) while he was handing the car in front of me their order. He was in the middle of handing it to them when he just sort of stopped and looked at my car for a good several seconds with a dumbfounded look on his face. I thought he might want to talk about it when I pulled up to get my order, but he didn't say anything, though I could've sworn he was leaning down extra far to look inside. That or that's just how far down he had to go to reach my car.

I've had mine a couple weeks now. Posted it on facebook and a couple of younger women I know "liked" it. No comments.

I've not had anyone actually walk up and speak to me about it. Several necks craning on the highway as they pass it. One guy in particular following in my blind spot and checking it out for a long while. At a light I noticed he'd rolled down his passenger window on my side, below freezing outside, to get a listen to it as I pulled off.

So I have had a couple of experiences.

I have witnessed 3 people taking a picture of my car while it was parked.

A guy came up to me while I was sat at a bar (car parked just outside) and asked me what car it was.

A girl was walking with her friends and as she walked by my car, she acted as though it was hers, then laughed about it with her friends. Just as she walked by and had her moment, I got to my car. Yes, I did feel like a boss. =)

1. Had a guy talked to me about it, asking what kind of car it is
2. Neighbour wanted to sit in
3. Woman pulled on the right side of the car, windows down in -6 weather to look at it
4. Scums of Walmart pulled my side mirrors back and scratched it on purpose (I parked far away)
5. Genesis Coupes with mean faces, revving car in front of me
6. Girls at mall: "Is that really a Toyota?"
7. The service desk woman at License Renewal Office (saw me park at front):Oh It's a Toyota Coupe? She needed my proof of ownership, she read, "Toyota", "Yup that's a nice Toyota!"

Drove past an late 90s impreza L last night, at the next red light, the lady in the drivers seat, as well as her husband in the passenger seat give my car the look over. I then see their son in the back seat about 8-9 years old look over like "what the heck are my parents looking at??". It's nice having a whole family check my car out.

It's a new car and people haven't seen it before or often.

Most people can't identify a Scion or Subaru badge.

Which is why someone f'd with your car. You're essentially telling all the other Wal-Mart(ians) that your car is better than theirs and they're not good enough to park next to you.

Can't win at Wall-Mart - I had my passenger side door dented and I parked relatively close. I would love to avoid the place, but, sometimes you have to go there. I try to get in and out like a Navy SEAL team.
