How many of these will be wrecked within a week of their release that is the real topic that should be brought up with this much power.

I'm looking forward to it, so I can drop an engine into my BRZ. You think the trans and diff can handle it?

LOL no way!
Our trans and diff will die with that much torque.

How would you know? It's a great car and many do regard it as a super car..
An affordable , reliable one. You may not like them.. But that doesn't change the category it competes in or the super car status it seems to have garnered..

That's a ridiculous amount of power. I owned a lowly 2007 Z06 with only 505HP. It was too intense to drive daily on the street. It was setup more for the track and too compromised for daily use, IMO and experience.
Too much mechanical grip and high limits require faster speeds to fully enjoy.
I never felt comfortable with that car and preferred to drive my other slower
Car on the track.
In the right hands it's a great track car and very capable..

I'd already heard the news, but still an appropriate reaction:

What would I do for this car? More like what wouldn't I do...

Seen the new generation in person. They look awesome. Never really been a fan of Corvettes but this one definitely changed that.

aside from the miata and maybe the more recent mustangs, corvettes get some of the most unwarranted hate.

Too much flair, maybe it'd look decent in black. But it's still a bit too butch.

Absurdly capable no doubt, but not really my style.
