Sooooooo has anybody thought of doing something like this yet? It would be intersting but I definetly don't have the balls to cut my car up that bad....

The Drifting Thread

Thats awesome news on the sway bar as well. Saw that a couple Japanese dudes did it and was really contemplating doing it to my car as well.

Heres a pic of the abs fuse that needs to be pulled in case it wasn't posted.

Can someone fill me in on this no front sway bar theory? My car is apart at the moment and I could quite easily not put it back in.

I guess it really depends on ur current setup? Hows ur dampening and spring rates? Knuckles?

How I see it is look at 4x4 guys. They run no sways for traction and articuation. That said it will give the front more grip on even and uneven surfaces but reduce response. However I want to know how it is with coilovers.

the factory sway bar is connected via the strut so eventually binds as you increase steering. That is because of the design of a macpherson strut. It turns too.

the best option is to increase front spring rates and to remove the sway bar. you will free up steering and the car will be more predictable in-transition.

quick question guys i run 18x8.5 in the front and 18x9.5 in the back, but i want to do some drift days so would it be ok to take the rears off and throw on my stockers and drift?
