@Sapphireho our favorite driving roads are on fire now . Bear Creek area, Pescadero Creek, La Honda.
Finally got a hold of my friend that lives in Boulder Creek right off hwy 9 about a mile north of Bear Creek road. They got evacuation orders Thursday. He just finished a 100k kitchen build, and is in the middle of a 25k deck build, so lots of kindling around. I hope he doesn't lose his house. Sucks. I hear Big Basin, and little Basin campgrounds are gone. Major bummer.

Real smoky here. You can see in satellite photos how smoke from Cal fires comes right up into idaho.

sorry, i learned too much today. i first self-inflicted myself with the history of turbo encabulators, and then learned that some people consider tomato's poisonous because of the plant species they're part of.

i've really surpassed my daily learning quota for a while. i'm in uncharted territory now!

I installed something completely on my own physically today, which felt pretty good other than a couple minor mishaps:

I'm not really a DIY-er but wanted to give it a shot, and I seem to have done a decent job.

The temperature of what does it measure? Where did you get it (link). I'm interested because even I may have the motivation to install one -

The one I got connects to the OBD2, so any values you can get from that are pretty much available to this gauge. This picture is of the oil temp.

One of my criteria for modifying my car is that I have to be capable and comfortable installing it myself. Probably why my car is still mostly stock despite a very long list of mods I want lol.

Also the secret reason I bought my first house (for a garage) lol.
