65’ Lambo 350 GT

That's not the story I heard. Ferruccio's complaint was that his Ferraris kept braking down and Enzo wouldn't rush to fix them. This lead to a huge argument ending with Lamborghini stating he'd put Ferrari out of business by building a better car. This is where the "Raging Bull" logo comes from. It was designed to taunt Enzo and ridicule his "Prancing Horse" emblems.
(Don't believe the stories of it being his Zodiac sign or that he loved bull fighting. That's all just after the fact Public Relations hype.)
You have got to love the Italians and their passion for the dramatic though, EH!

I wanted to grab some iced coffee while it's still not absurdly hot (already 80+ and it wasn't even 9am at the time).

So I went to the nice shopping center even though I knew it'd be dead except for the coffee shop.

Annnd ended up surrounded by cars worth muuuuch more than a BRZ:

I liked how as the Lambo arrived, multiple of the owners started taking photos of / looking at each other's cars, but completely skipped mine. As I was pulling out, I opened my window and said "sorry to break up the lineup!" and one of the guys said "it's cool, we're all car guys!"

But I dunno, are these types of guys reeeally "car guys"?

Yes they are. Same as a minivan or lifted truck fan is still a car guy. They are just a different type.

another article said close to 43% of corn crops were destroyed... that's going to have a significant impact on food and gas prices

Yeah.. guess it's not "popular enough" for the news cycle..

My sister in Chicago was also affected by that derecho. In fact this week was the first time I'd ever heard of one. Never had heard that word before.
