Very possible it's the water pump IMO.

My Trans Am developed a horrible idle rattle that sounded like nuts and bolts in a coffee can. After an hour checking every piece of heat shield and sheet metal on the front of the car I took the serp belt off. Tiny amount of play in the belt tension pulley. Put a new one on and the noise went away.

Good day to be on the mountain. About 15 degrees cooler up here.

Learned a new fact today. The A-10 has two engines that produce 41kN of thrust each, the 30mm cannon on the front produces 45kN of thrust when fired
So, if they lose one engine, they can't fire the cannon ...... more that once at least?

I don’t get why nobody else brought a board.

The bay area's had an insanely unusual thunderstorm almost all night. It started probably around 3am, but I actually didn't wake up until a splitting loud thunder boom happened right above me, or at least it felt/sounded like that.

Constant lightning bolts/thunder while I was awake and it was still dark out. Then it stopped for an hour or so, and now there's thunder again.

They extended the t-storm watch through tomorrow morning. Crazy.

East coast has been stormy too but that's normal in the summer for us. ATC gave me a perfect vector through the "valley" of the storms though.

Yeah, this is unusual for us. Felt like when I've been to NYC and Florida in the summer this morning.

Bet flying through those are fun!

When I lived in Florida I used to love going flying at night when there were thunderstorms a safe distance from the home airport. The light show was amazing.

Went salmon fishing this weekend.
Caught a rainbow trout.
A 14 pound rainbow trout mind you.
Did not even see a salmon much less catch one.
