Thank you!

I thought that was a "C" on the front

It is just this cheap motor controller I am playing with. I was curious if it would be up to snuff for a project I am working on. Looks like all the main components are good enough to handle it. I am only getting about 100-110F and everything that is getting hot is rated for 300F continuous. Now to see if it gets too hot when I 3d print an enclosure for it. I haven't opened it up to poke around inside yet but it looks like it has 5 mosfets that run into that rectifier. I thought it was PWM but it's not according to the mfg.

Well yeah. And you didn't have to divine it from a fucking capcha thumbnail. I started looking at what the characters could be if the smudges weren't there.

I salvaged a motor and controller board out of a front loader washing machine a few years back. Am still planning on using it as a variable speed drive for my old Atlas 912.

Nice spray rig.

Oh, yes, Roundup (glyphosate) and I go way back, to when I was a scienteest with Stauffer Chemical Company. We patented glyphosate (composition of matter patent) as a chemical chelator. A few years later Monsanto acquired a use patent as a herbicide and called it Roundup.

"Discovery

Glyphosate was first synthesized in 1950 by Swiss chemist Henry Martin, who worked for the Swiss company Cilag. The work was never published.[15]:1 Stauffer Chemical patented the agent as a chemical chelator in 1964 as it binds and removes minerals such as calcium, magnesium, manganese, copper, and zinc.[16]
Somewhat later, glyphosate was independently discovered in the United States at Monsanto in 1970."

Yep, our brilliant patent department didn't see that one coming, till it was too late.

So, back to spraying that stuff. While I was a field scienteeeest, I sprayed tons of it's analog to try to prove enhanced biological activity over glyphosate (Roundup). Yep, sprayed a ton of Roundup as a standard.

So, don't be afeared of spraying that stuff - look how I turned out - and I've only had cancer twice -

SERIOUSLY - when spraying Roundup, use a respirator, goggles and rubber gloves.

Don't worry about the after effect, impotence, at your age, that will happen anyway -

That would be a fun project. I have seen quite a few video's on old equipment being updated with varible speed drives.

I bought an arduino uno kit to start playing with. Work won't let me go to school so I have to try to learn on my own.
