Yeah, it's one of the free games for this month's PS Plus Essentials. The handling is very odd to me. Not quite arcade like, but definitely not simulation like. And I can't find how to turn off the adaptive triggers, which I don't like. I'll probably stop playing it, but won't uninstsll it.

I believe it was developed by Codemasters, who are in charge of the F1 games, so the handling mechanics might be slightly similar. There's a lot of understeer and braking induces oversteer. Depending on the vehicle. I drove with the Logitech G29 and it took a little bit to get used to. Maybe in the middle of arcade and sim is where I would place the driving mechanics.

Alright, did the GT Sport TA with that weird car first, just to get rid of the Grid Legends handling out of my system. Lol.

Zenki first gen 86 was 5 laps.

Second gen 86 was only 4 laps since I botched the 5th and didn't bother finishing the lap.

For the first gen, I never went into 5th. I think I still have some time left for both gens since I can't get turn 1 down. I think I did with the second gen on one lap, but I botched the lap.

Since I was able to improve and reach gold (for now) for that GT Sport TA, I figured to try to improve my times for our TA. Couldn't improve on the 1st gen, but slightly improved the 2nd gen.

Also, didn't know that if you hit retry, it does not record your lap times (that's why my second attempt for the 1st gen didn't show up).

So here are my results. As always, it’s hard to beat Laz’s lap time.

Also noticed that my GT86 is somehow higher PP than you guys. Idk why it is (bone stock other than SS)… other than it’s Kouki vs you guys are using Zenki. So I bought BRZ S & tried it out. It came out about the same results as my GT86. Just fraction faster lol

For shits & giggle, raced maxed out GR86. 1 lap w a ton of mistake & still got 38.xxx lol

Added 2nd gen lap. I really didn’t enjoy driving the 2nd gen as much. Felt like it has more understeer. 44.356

Really? I felt the GR86 to be more loose than the 1st gen 86. Wonder if it's a BRZ thing?

Yeah I dunno, I didn’t try the GR and haven’t driven it in awhile. The 2nd gen BRZ felt like it didn’t like being pushed into the corner or it would understeer out. Had to be a bit more patient with it on turn in. I was really inconsistent driving it.

Maybe it’s GR86 vs BRZ. I felt loose as well, but I was driving GR86 instead of BRZ. Maybe next time I should try both.

GT86 vs BRZ, there wasn’t much difference…. More like too underpower to feel the difference lol

I did try a handful of laps in the GR and it does feel better. I’m not going to include the fastest time I did in it since it looks like I cut the final corner but on average it was a bit faster then the BRZ and I could drive it more consistently.
