I have 600 miles and Mine and its done it from day 1. Sounds like nothing more than the direct injection nozzles to me. They are loud suckers.

However I have all kinds of exhaust shield rattles now that are pissing me off.

Confirmed that chirping only happens after driving the car. At idle or revs or AC on does not do it for however long you run it in a garage for. That's what I've spent doing today.

I noticed today at the laundry mat the the washer has the same chirp.

I just heard this last night when I got home and parked. Was driving it for awhile and figured I would check after seeing this thread. I'm at ~2k miles now and not sure if I noticed it awhile actually driving, will have to check later.

after reading this thread, i feel like i constantly hear it now although my gf tells me she doesnt hear a thing. i might just be going crazy

Finally heard it today, almost 1800 miles, at idle, AC off. Going to take it in to the dealer this week for the chirp, the low idle rev (400rpm dip) and Bluetooth issues with the nav unit. Being a first gen owner is fun! :P

I would have liked it better if he had said, "unless people keep chirping about it". Glad that it's a known issue that doesn't seen to be an actual mechanical 'problem' per say.

That's not good, the noise is just annoying...

Everyone should at least call and report the sound if not taking it in. I am taking mine in this Friday.
