I installed all the lights into my car and it's a much nicer feel at night time with the bright LED lights. The only thing is, to me at least, the LED reverse lights don't seem that bright for me. In the pictures they look a lot brighter then they feel for me so at night it's a bit hard to see where I'm going in reverse. Anyone else feel the same?

Posted this in the other Automation thread but might be useful to others: At first, I couldn't get the lights to work in the trunk. I thought I might have had defective leds, but then I tried spreading out the contacts/wires on the leds so they are a bit farther from each other. That worked!

I don't know if this is normal, but it looks like the contacts in the socket are farther apart than the wires on the leds.

I changed my oem bulb to an LED set also, so far there's no strobing effect. Same dimming effect with the halogen bulb.

I'm sure this has been said before, but pictures don't do it any justice!! I installed the entire kit on my BRZ and they look great

Reverse LED's were a pain to install, but I shone a light on the connector and you can see the arrow pointing in the direction for "lock." just twist in the opposite direction and you can easily pull out the bulb. Just be careful of scratching your arm up. I laid a towel down and got on my back to do this; I'm a skinny guy and I still got some scrapes on my forearm.

Just received and installed my lights today. Stage 2 Dome Light, Reverse Lights, Trunk light and doors lights. Was rather quick and painless. Hardest being the reverse lights. But everything looks great. I think I will have to order the license plate lights here soon.

Is there a dedicated fuse for this socket? the other door still lights along with the overhead light. I've unplugged and re-plugged the regular bulbs and they don't work either. Anyone know what I'm missing, or what I've messed up? When it gets daylight again, I'll take a volt meter to it.

On another note, the lights look great! My wife's really impressed with the look on "her" car.

Did you figure out what went wrong and how to fix this? I just had the same thing happen to me!

I actually got pulled over last night for the LED license plate lights. Cop said it looked "too blue" against my WRB BRZ. I think it was just a sorry excuse to pull me over.
