This probably deserves a bump.
Any real world shots of the high beams? I've got a quad setup in my civic with RX330's and FX35's and while I like my lights I dearly miss my stock halogen highbeams, the high beam pattern on the FX35's blows. At least here you get the option to choose, but I'm curious to see the pattern on the Morimoto's. |

can someone explain to me the benefit of this quik retro kit ...vs
morimoto elite hid system? I know the reto kit comes with projectors, why wouldn't the stock projectors work well for the HID?

From what I understand, the shape of the halogen projector disperses light in a wider range than a HID projector, and the cut-off isn't as clean because squirrel finders are used. With a halogen bulb, the light output isn't as bright which is why it's acceptable to have a little glare above the cutoff. Increasing the light output with HIDs will certainly start blinding people, so it's better to get the proper projector to have a clean cutoff and avoid blinding people. I'm very happy with my TRS kit.
