Fine, I will retract my statement about autos being for bitches, because if I had the opportunity and the funds to buy one, I would most definitely be driving a GTR right now. That statement was a little crass and I apologize for saying it.

Hell, my DD would probably be an auto as well because like a few have said, shifting gears all day in your DD gets old sometimes. That might be why I'm kinda tired of my S.

Mr. Tada, Chief engineer of the project team told they also develop automatic version exactly.
They are considering which automatic transmission is better, 5AT or CVT.

I hope it doesn't come in auto because when a sorority girl pulls up next to you in the same car holding a chihuahua and applying her mary kay makeup it puts a world of hurt on ur mojo. I think a manual would keep their hands full. lol

An automatic will allow Toyota to sell more of these cars. Anything that results in more sales is a good thing.

Porsche makes SUVs and Sedans. BMW makes ///M X5s now. Aston has penned a sedan.

Companies do what they need to be profitable. As long as it results in additiona profit and R&D $$s, it's no problem.

I wouldn't but it with an AT, but I know there are people who won't be it without one.

Ur definitely right. In the real world I know there will be an AT but in my fantasy world AT sports cars don't exist. Maybe they should pull a Mazda and make the AT version slower like the RX-8. Put a Yaris engine in 'em. That'll teach them a lesson. Then we can stare down from our pedestal and snicker.

In all seriousness, if giving it an AT means the continuous production of this car I'm happy.

I was actually going to say, "Even the RX8 has an auto, and it required a severely decreased redline on the engine and lower power"

It'll have an auto as an option and that's a good thing. I hope they sell like hot cakes.

Hmmm, I've never had this problem.

Wonder why?
