This is a very clever design. Looks like you have the ability to tweak a few aspects once testing is under way and possibly a few options on the trumpet lengths and diameter depending on the application.

If done correctly (meaning the trumpets are sized correctly), I don't think there will be any loss and plenty of gains. I think the Question will be where do you want to concentrate the gains....
