Ahhhh good ole' reliable Shutter!
It would appear that everybody doesn't have a sarcasm meter!

Oh, and OP isn't asking what to get, just what looks better. I am pretty sure his next post will be "is Hot Lava orangey brown or brownish orange?"

ah! I fail at reading...I went to a public high school though, so that should explain most of it.

OP, please add poll for "what color is Hot Lava"

I am more of a Mopar guy and if had a garage or shop space this would be my weekend cruiser.

That Chevelle is what taught me how to work on cars. Dad bought it for me as a burned out wreck when I was 11 years old, been working on it ever since. I'm now 32 and through 2 engines and 3 different paint jobs she is just about finished. Last mod was beef up the rear end and install disc brakes in the rear as well. Needed it with that 496 BB I put in last spring.

The FR-S is my foray into working on modern vehicles. I work as a firmware engineer, so it's time to start putting my knowledge to good use and learn to tune.

If I only had 30+k for a DynoJet of my own, this process would be a whole lot faster.

This is always an awkward question but is it a real SS or a clone? I read a couple of years ago that there are now more Chevelle "SS"s on the road then they actually made and I believe it as every single one I see claims to be an SS.

Not awkward at all mate, I get this question a lot actually. It came from the factory as a 396 SS. Sadly what caused the fire that burnt it to the ground was the original engine. That block in long gone. Had I known what I know now, I think I would have persuaded my father to keep that block. Even in the condition it was in, the matching numbers would have made my car worth a hell of a lot more then it is now.

We pulled the 350 out of his 69 Camaro and sold the Camaro to a friend who already had an engine waiting for it. That was fun until about last year when we ordered a 496 from ATK.
