^kenblock gets more attention than he has skill. He tested for a ford rally team before. He lifts on a straight in top gear. They didn't hire him. Stunt driver for ford/monster. Nothing more.

One of the articles posted mention it is being made in Germany. So the price is going to be up there. I still have my fingers crossed though.

He must be doing something right. The dude makes bank and cut ties with DC shoes almost ten years ago.

Ya fanboys. It's ok to like him and be a fan, as he promotes motorsports. But to think he is the best driver ever...
Most of those fanboys don't even know who Sebasitan Loeb is.

Are you going to make a video of you eating your keys?

i'd still take a 350hp AWD hatch over a mustang gt.

Here is a link with some information. 320 hp, AWD confirmed.

Subaru might end up regretting killing off the WRX & STI hatch. That opened the door for Ford to introduce an AWD turbo hatch of their own.

I would consider one down the road if I need a more practical fun car.

EDIT: Dave-ROR beat me to it.
I'm really hoping mazda see's this and finally stops being quiet on the new speed 3/6 they're developing.

Hmmm man that is tempting. I've been toying with the idea of either selling my FR-S or just buying a second car as my daily and continue building my twin for the track. I really wanted a 2015 WRX, then i started to fall in love with hot hatches again, been looking at 2014 STi hatch, Golf R, GTI, Focus ST etc but i am really intrigued with the Focus RS.

All that I'm reading plus the fact that this link exists on an OEM website is going to make me seriously consider this vehicle:

http://www.fordracingparts.com/

I'm hoping that with the advent of the RS coming to the US the Focus section of that manual increases and has some rally goodies in it.

I looked at the VWG-R until I learned that you couldn't turn off the traction control. They didn't even test it on the track in the video I watched because they said it was slowed so much in their daily driving due to the nannies that they didn't bother to compare it to the ST.

The MK7 Golf R has the ability to fully disable the nannies thankfully.

Ken Block is a business man/stunt driver.

Of course he's doing something right. He has the money and resources to make videos that are extremely popular on the internet. He's not a bad driver either.

However... look at each of those shots in all of those videos and you'll realize that there are like 10 skid parks from failed attempts. He's not all that great.

It's like when everybody was saying he was going to dominate the x-games when Sebastian Loeb came to race. I knew Loeb would dominate but nobody believed me. Then Sebastian beat everybody by a full lap.

Hollywood doesn't hold a candle to WRC.. sorry

He's not the worst driver in the world by a long shot but he's definitely not up there with the rally greats..
