Down at Injen right now, posting from my iPhone. Absolutely best guys in the world; Adrian and Paul are genuinely passionate about their work. Very considerate with how they have handled the whole process. I am going to drive my car for a while and bring it back in for them to finish off the rest of the planned testing.
Going to have to hold off on engine bay and undercarriage pics until everything is done. Want to drop the whole package at the same time. Initial driving impressions to come, as well as (possibly) some very exciting news!

Very nice thread. I love the color (I have an SWP 2011 WRX 5DR) and really like all of what you have done in the audio thread.
I fired a question to you over there (may be mor appropriate there than here) abot the door speakers and whether you have photos of how the 6.5" mids were installed. Thanks, and congrats on the beautiful car. |

I do have pics of it, but they are on a computer I don't have access to until sometime next week. As soon as I can get to it, I'll post them up for you.

Did a small write up on my time at Injen today.
Missing my baby already, but can't wait to see what more the wizards down there can come up with! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11118

Thank you. If you have the OEM speakers around, I could use your input/assistance on some R&D. I shot you a PM.

Wow that tint makes white look even better than what it already is! Quick question, I saw you put that you were getting 35/25 tint.. Are the front windows 35? Because I have 35 on mine and it does not look as dark (or good) as yours lol!

Yes, the fronts are 35, rears are 25. The contrast with the white definitely seems to increase the darkness of the tint, comparatively.

positive: nice car and mods fo sho!
negative: having a white car in my stable, you will regret not going all the way back with the clear bra. should have done entire bumper (skipped hood) and entire fenders. you will have a line of dust that will take forever to clean every time you clean your car. a good solution is 3M adhesive remover. comes in a metal container (totally paint safe) and will take most of the dust in one swipe. you can get it at kitrells. a lot of other places don't sell it as it is a professional grade product.

The entire bumper is done, but the Opti-Guard will do a pretty good job of keeping the line of the Clear Bra from being a problem, I think.

Picked up my keychain and Oil Filler cap after getting the car Opti-guarded.
Still absolutely loving the car. ![]() Production Injen intake is on the car and working great; looking forward to the event on 8/5 in LA. Still waiting for the production exhaust from Injen; no ETA yet. ![]() ![]() I've swapped back and forth from the Polished to Wrinkle Black tube... think I'm going to stick with the Polished tube with Wrinkle Black heat shield cover.

Ordered a set of the Fortune Auto v4 500s w/ Swift spring upgrade today. I decided to go with a low-cost option for daily driving to see what I thought about it. If they feel sub-par I will probably go with the RS-Rs.
Still haven't decided on which rims I am going to go with, but am leaning towards a set of 18x8 or 18x8.5 average weight rims. I would love to go lightweight, but I really don't think I can afford as much I would have to spend to find a set that I liked a lot that was also high quality and low weight.

Met up with Tim (the owner of Carsmo Design) today to let him check fitment of their spoiler on the BRZ Premium.
Really nice guy; thoroughly enjoyed talking about our respective rides and what he's planning on doing in the way of mods. Keep an eye on their site (www.carsmodesign.com), as I'm sure they'll have interesting things coming down the stretch.
