+1 on Donks...

Also, the rusted out body parts trend that the VW crowd made popular...

Not as extreme, but a nasty trend I see is the move to tiny greenhouses with bunker-style windows, especially combined with high bodies (see the Camaro above as a perfect example). Sat in a Camaro at an auto show and could not imagine anyone driving the thing safely except in an empty parking lot. It would be interesting to see the actuarial data related to this, I bet it leads to far more accidents due to the severe visibility limitations it imposes.

I test drove a Camaro a couple of weeks back for about 20 miles on backroads and four lines. I really didn't find the visibility a problem even though I expected to. Then again, I tend to use my mirrors mostly and they adjusted fine. It was definitely better than my '05 Mustang convertible.

Well virtually anything is going to be better than a Mustang vert with the top up.

Also cars like these would be a total PITA to park without sensors.

True on the Mustang, just using it for a comparison since everything else I drive has lots of glass or none (van/motorcycle).

I parallel parked the Camaro with no issues but it was a lot of head twisting and mirror adjusting. The salesdude wouldn't let me try to powerslide it into the spot for some reason.

I'm a black guy and I hate DONKS with a fucking passion. I don't care for hellaflush but it's not as bad as DONKS. When it comes to cars my race is fucking stupid/ghetto when it comes to styling it.

Car style/trends crimes are pretty raceless. Ricers et al. come in all different sizes and shapes.

I agree. But anytime you see one of these POS on the road I can guarantee about a 97% chance there will be a black person driving it. I live in Atlanta which is the DONK capital(well the whole damn south is).

Donk=Hellaflush in my book

they both put style and looks above handling. Look if you like those two styles then fine, but as for me, I like to go for more than 5 miles and not have my spine shattered, I like to be able to drive over speed bumps, and I like having a normal turning radius, not one that's the size of the moon.

Function supersedes Form always in my book

yeah while that is true, I can proudly say, as a black man, that I do not care for it
